I'm currently I am a brittle type 1 diabetic, I am on a daily regiment of 40 mg of hydrocortizone steroids for kidney issues. I am consume a lot of dairy products also alot of "junk" foods. I am wondering what type of testing can be ordered by my doctor to detect levels of yeast in my body.

There are several different tests that you can ask your doctor to order, but I believe the most reliable is a blood test. Doctors can order blood tests to detect yeast in your body, the question is always if they are willing to.
