Can my doctor prescribe me anything to help with candida?

I have been a healthy 59 year old who has been suffering from inflammatory arthritis for a few years, especially on my middle fingers. My skin gets progressively worse in terms of itching, and my bowels feel as if there is an alien inside.

I have modified my diet dramatically, and almost completely eliminated sugar and dairy but am suffering with extreme cravings. I literally dream about it. I also now notice white seeds in my BM. I wanted to know if there are any prescriptions for candida that can help if I get it from my MD along with the recommendations on the site.

There are tons of things that you can do for candida, including diflucan, nystatin, etc. But I wouldn't mess with that unless you really really feel that you need it.

If you have bad candida and terrible cravings, start by getting on a good anti-candida diet. I also suggest taking the probiotics and the cfort10.
