What to topically apply to rash?

I have a rash, and went to my regular doctor who immediately said that my rash was yeast. Before I went to her, my rash didn't itch, it was just bothersome and embarassing. After I started using the nystatin cream she prescribed to be applied 4x daily, the area became extremely red and itchy. I couldn't control the itch and had to wash it off. I had to apply an ice pack to help with the itching. I'm too worried to use the cream anymore. I was also given fluconazole to take for four weeks, but have not done it yet.

I read that if I apply coconut oil and garlic to the rash it will kill the fungus. I had some odorless garlic softgels that I opened and squeezed onto the rash. It's not itching as much anymore and almost barely manageable.

I want to know if I should be applying any other herbs topically to the rash and if it would make it worse or better. I've read that coconut oil, garlic, tea tree oil, and colloidal silver are all good to apply. I only had garlic in the house and wanted to try that. Should I look into trying the others?

I got the rash when I was sick from a really bad cold, and none of the Rx stuff has helped so I want to go natural. If there's any other suggestions you can give me it would be appreciated.

If you apply topical antifungals, coconut oil, garlic, tea tree oil, colloidal silver, etc. you need to also make sure to go on a good anti candida diet. I personally had very good luck with tea tree oil. Another one that I've had very good luck with is tinctured iodine.

In terms of a good anti-candida diet, there are plenty on the website. There are links to books on the right, look at them. There are basic things you need to do like cut out sugars, and carbs, and eating the right foods.
