Vaginal Yeast Infection Skin Contact

I've been experiencing a recurrent vaginal yeast infection for some time now.

I wanted to know if it's contagious and it can be transferred from my vagina to my partner's skin. Is it possible that my partner could have developed this from contact with my yeast?

Yeast infection is transmittable through skin contact. It is very possible that your partner can develop it from contact with your skin. It's ideal to avoid intercourse during the time that you have an infection, not only because you can transmit it to your partner but it is very rough on your skin as well.

If you cannot avoid it, then I highly recommend using a condom.
