I like drinking green tea a lot, and wanted to know if it's okay to drink while on the Candida diet?

The problem with drinking green tea while you have a Candida albicans infestation is because it has a negative effect overall on your treatment, but other than this and just as importantly is the fact that there are other teas which you would be receiving so many more benefits from drinking during a Candida infestation and treatment.

The real problem with drinking green tea is the fact that it contains caffeine, not as much as coffee would, but still, it has specific caffeine content. It's rather commonly known that caffeine can affect one's health, and this is especially true if the person already has a health problem that they're trying to correct. Aside from the caffeine content, green tea also contains other substances which resemble caffeine, these are called caffeine metabolites. Neither caffeine nor the metabolites are going to be plus on your Candida treatment, in fact, they would be just the opposite. The negative effect from the caffeine in green tea or its metabolites would be the way it affects your adrenal glands which of course would in turn affect your immune system. If you have a Candida infestation, both your immune system and your adrenals are already suffering; otherwise, you wouldn’t have contracted a Candida infestation in the first place.

Drinking tea is actually a great idea during a Candida treatment, but you should take your choice of tea under serious consideration before deciding on the one or ones which will become part of your treatment. The liquids which would actually benefit your Candida treatment are Nettle Leaf tea, which contains powerful benefits on a Candida treatment, Dandelion root tea or coffee, and 100% Chicory Coffee. It would be preferable if you could drink organic teas and coffee during the time you are trying to bring your Candida infestation under control.

Teas, NOT tea's!!
In that case, can I have DECAFFINATED green tea?
so, you are saying not to drink green tea because of the caffeine, but coffee is ok???
I think he meant dandelion coffee.
