What kind of soap and shampoo do you use if you have Candida? I know that some soaps are antifungal. What about laundry detergents?

You should always use a body soap that comes as close as possible to matching the pH balance of the skin. The only soap so far that manages to do this is pure goat’s milk soap. This can be purchased at most health food stores. Goat’s milk soap contains a substance called alpha-hydroxy acid which is a form of lactic acid. The lactic acid of course will cause a beneficial film on your skin which protects it from pathogens such as dangerous bacteria and yeasts.

It also contains several essential minerals as well as vitamins such as vitamin A which will help to heal damaged skin.  It also removes dead skin cells which, left behind can cause infections of the skin. It also can provide allergic, acne, and psoriasis relief.

As far as detergents are concerned, you can purchase an environmentally safe detergent which would also be safe for humans, or, you can even make your own, safe detergent. There are many websites on the Internet explaining how simply this can be done.  Just key in the search term, “Make your own safe detergent” and you should bring up many sites that can help you do this. Always rinse your clothes thoroughly and if possible twice, no matter which detergent you use.
