Hysterectomy, the surgical removal of the uterus, causes many well documented, irreversible, life altering adverse effects. Among the most consistent problems women report, with or without removal of the ovaries (oophorectomy), and/or the cervix, include a loss of physical sexual sensation, a loss of vitality, joint pain, back pain, profound fatigue, personality change, and a 25 pound average weight gain in the first year following the surgery. However, not all is lost as there are ways to bring back your sex drive.

One way is through hormonal therapy after your hysterectomy is to supplement with bioidentical testosterone to restore hormone levels to those of a healthy young woman. t’s simply a matter of replacing what’s missing. Taking charge of your health will help not only improve your libido, but restore your energy and vitality. I would recommend you contact a center near you to get further information.
