I'm getting yeast infections every month

I started getting vaginal yeast infections in my early 20's (I am now 32) I would get it once a year, then twice then three times. Now I am at the point where I have one every month. It is truly unbearable. I am being followed by a microbiologist but all he does is give me Diflucan. It helps my symptoms get better but it always comes back to once a month. I dont know what to do anymore. It is ruining my life and my sex life. I told my boyfriend we're gonna always use a condom because I dont want to take the pill but its a lie. Its only because I do not want him to catch it since my previous boyfriend had caught it. It is so embarrasing to have to explain to a men that he has a rash on his penis because of me :( I was wondering if you can help me out because i am on the edge of desperation. I have tried everything from yogurt, to garlic, to probiotics, all the azoles, nystatin..... I also have difficulties having bowel movement (I've always gone to the washroom once a week). Im guessing it is due to this chornic candida.

You're going to have to find the cause of your yeast infections, it might have to do with something you are allergic to with the soap that you use to wash, or maybe it's something with your diet. You're going to have to work hard and eliminate every possible cause, but at the same time you will also have to go on a strict diet, take probiotics as well as good antifungals so you can clean your body out from the inside. I highly suggest you really get to the root of the problem. Without doing that you will run into the same issues over and over again.
