Hello,
I've been reading the web trying to find out what's wrong with me, and I think that I might have candida overgrowth. I've been feeling terrible for the past couple months.
It all started with a urinary tract infection which I took ciprofoxacin and it never helped me. I then took bactrim which helped me a little, but I felt lower back pains as well as lower abdominal pain. At the same time I had bacterial vaginosis and took metronidazole to get rid of that, but I was still in pain and went to see a radiologist who gave me a CT scan as well as an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound.
They found gallbladder stones, a small cyst on my right overy but nothing else. I was still in pain, getting much better, but 1 week after that I had intense itching and burning in my vagina. I went to the doctor to find out I had a yeast infection. I've been given 2 doses of fluconazole, and started reading about the diet. I'm a bit depressed and have been 108 pounds before I was sick, and now am only 103. I'm worried about losing more weight. Is there any diet that will not make me lose weight, or what about eating more of the particular foods that I'm allowed to eat? Thanks
