Shaving causing yeast infections

Hello, I am only 18 and have had 4 yeast infections in the past year. It started when I became sexually active, but was diagnosed with them from just using soap to clean my pubic area or by shaving.

Recently I had my fourth yeast infection which was cured, but had another one after shaving.

Is there something that you can recommend to me who is extremely sensitive to soaps or shaving creams, as well as prone to yeast infections? I need to shave my pubic area otherwise I feel extremely dirty. I tried an unscented soap, but run into the very same issues. I'm hoping you can recommend something that I can do.

Shaving can cause yeast infections if you are allergic to specific soaps or creams, or you highly irritate the affected area. It might not just be scents in the soap, but the ingredients in the soap which you are allergic to or react to. So you need to find a soap that is gentle for you.

Another option is to do a Brazilian wax, and another option is to laser it, it will make it stop growing completely after a few sessions.
