Often times people confuse a yeast infection with an STD, and that's why we get questions like if you can get a yeast infection from giving oral. The answer to this question is without a doubt yes, as it is contagious, but yeast infections are NOT STD's. They are completely different.
The way to catch yeast infections from your partner is if your partner has jock itch or a vaginal thrush, you will get exposed to it yourself. You will not necessarily develop a yeast infection, depending on how strong your bodies constitution is, but if you are weak, there is a higher likelihood of developing oral candidiasis if you give oral. You may find that you end up getting a yeast infection elsewhere, though, and it may not show up on your mouth, from touching your mouth and touching other parts as it is contagious.
