Can You Get a Yeast Infection from Not Drinking Enough Water?

My work makes it a bit difficult for me to take enough bathroom breaks, so I'm not really drinking a lot of water. Will that cause me any real harm, and will it give me a yeast infection?

Drinking water is essential for anybody. Not drinking water does a lot more harm than just getting candida or a yeast infection, but water comprises most of your body, and it's so essential. It's really not a good idea to force yourself not to drink water because you do not get bathroom breaks. I do understand that many jobs are difficult and may not allow it though, but being hydrated is so important.

Dehydration can cause quite a number of imbalances within the body. The more dehydrated you become, the harder it is for your body’s systems to function. As your body becomes imbalanced, your immune system is less effective at warding off infections – including yeast infections.

Dehydration isn’t a direct cause of yeast infections, but you’ll probably find that the more hydrated you are, the healthier you’ll feel. This is partly because the water will help the good bacteria in your body to live and thrive properly, keeping your yeast levels under control.
